 The Arc of Madison County will be teeing up support for their 11th Annual Mike Scherer Memorial Golf Benefit on Friday, April 23rd, 2010 at the Links at Redstone on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This annual benefit through CSC has raised more than $1 million over the last ten years to support the work of The Arc.
The golf benefit is named after Mike Scherer, a former past president of the Board of Directors and a founding member of the golf tournament. After his passing in 2006, the tournament was renamed in his memory to honor his dedication and support of The Arc.
Throughout the years, the golf benefit has provided much needed funding to The Arc of Madison County. Matching funds were made available for many of the tournaments. Previous tournaments have raised and supported the following:
