The Arc Recycling Program

The Arc's recycling program provides services to many businesses and schools throughout Madison County. This service provides employment opportunities and vocational and social skills training for individuals with intellectual disabilities. These individuals are able to go out into the community to collect aluminum cans, paper, plastic bottles, ink cartridges, and cell phones. In addition, our recycling program provides employment for many individuals at the Arc's Lowe Center as they sort paper for recycling. Many of the businesses and schools participating in this program do so because of "word of mouth."
